Ugh!  I'm a total cop out!  I promised myself I'd write this summer, and here it is, suddenly October, and I haven't been back since.  Point of the matter is I'm soul-searching instead of writing fanfic like I want to be lol!  I'm not making any promises, though.  I don't know when I'll be together enough to sit down and write a few chapters, but for those still interested in my story, I'm not gone!  I still think about it all the time and get plot bunnies and such.  Just don't give up on me, and I'll keep trying. :)

Alright, so I'm onto something, here.  I've got the next three months with which to focus on nothing but writing and making sure I'm awake for work in the morning.  So, without further ado, here's the first chapter of my first story.

You know how new year's resolutions tend to be empty promises?  I've hardly written anything in the last four months, and what I have written is kind of lame.  I'm going to postpone my little project, and try instead to just write when it comes to me.  As for manips,  haven't even opened Photoshop since I posted first.  I'm going to dig in, though.  A sudden burst of inspiration got me back to this channel, and I'm not going to let it get away from me.

I'm a ghost! Unseen, undetected, forced to live a life of solitude due to my inherent disability to know what to do with myself on here. Okay, okay, so I'm being dramatic, but it's my first post, and I wanted it to be interesting, lol.

I wish I'd have thought to do NaNoWriMo... Oh well, I'll just have to do things my own way.

So, the first couple months of this account are preparatory. I'm looking for people and communities to post in, and I'm hoping to find a nice circle before the actual project begins. Speaking of the project...

So here is the summary, subject to change... I'm going to write a new story every month, and they must be at least 10,000 words each. I made this limit so I don't take the easy one-shot road.  Also because, this way, I can do short stories, which I'm best at ending, but still feed my inner epic muse with the opportunity to continue with a story that will definitely take longer (You can count on me taking a long time to finish a story like that... I have separation anxiety to them). The only other rule is that they must be completed by December 31st.

This adds up to twelve stories in one year. Can she do it? Oh, yeah, she can... maybe... I think... I hope...

Uh... Right, so new rule: this journal must be updated once a week with news on posting dates and status of different stories. If it's not, then I must do some kind of a challenge, for which the actual plan for that will be set up later (since I'm not exactly sure if anyone will get into this, yet).

One more thing... a manip a week. I love my photoshop, and I love my sister for helping me get it.  I love the work I've seen others do, and I want in, darn it!  If anyone happens across this by chance and knows of some communities that would be good for me, let me know!  I appreciate any and all advice.

Full time school, full time job, and now this.  This is gonna be great!  2009, here I come!

Oh, god. I am so screwed.
